A Letter for a Fabulous Girl
This uplifting gift book is written as a love letter to the child suffering from hair loss. It starts out, “Hey girl, you’re beautiful, and loved!” and it continues that way with more affirmations and encouragement. Written by a pediatric oncology pharmacist, it includes a frank discussion about how life can be both bitter and sweet, but encourages the reader to be strong and embrace her new beauty. It doesn’t discuss the reason for the hair loss, so it can be given to children suffering from alopecia or going through cancer treatments. If you are looking for a gift for a girl in your life who is suffering from hair loss for whatever reason, this book would be a great option. Even better, send this book to her and offer to host her scarf and hat shower!
